STUDIO POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

Tuition

SEPTEMBER TO JUNE:

$140 per month

-one subject

-weekly 30 min. lesson

$240 per month

-Combo Lesson (2 subjects)

-weekly 1 hour lesson

TUITION IS A FLAT RATE

-based on 4 lessons per month

(During months with a 5th week, the lesson is FREE!)

Sibling Discount:

-2 back to back lessons (weekly)

-$240 per month

Cancellations

There will be no credits or refunds for missed lessons. If a student misses a lesson for any reason, the monthly payment remains the same.

Missed lessons include excused and unexcused absences (emergencies, illness, conflicts, family vacations, school closings, inclement weather, etc.)

If available, I will be happy to do a makeup lesson if it fits into my schedule. Make-up lessons are not available for cancellations made on the same day. Please see: Make-Up Lessons below for more info

If I, the teacher, ever needs to cancel a lesson, the tuition will be pro-rated or a credit will be applied to your next month.

Expectations

Practice

Learning an instrument requires discipline and dedication. Students are asked to practice daily and attend lessons weekly. Parental supervision is encouraged for younger students while practicing at home.

Punctuality

Please arrive to your lesson on-time. In many cases there is a student right before you, and/or after you. It's best to arrive a few minutes early to ensure a proper start time. Late arrivals will not result in longer lessons. Please notify me if a problem arises and I will do my best to accommodate if it doesn't interfere with another students lesson.

Mission Statement

“Anyone can be a star” is my motto. I focus on building self confidence and teaching students to love their individual musical style. My goal is to see a student shine in their own unique light.

Studio Closures

The months of November, December, and Marchwill be prorated due to the studio being closed. Tuition for these months will be $105 for single subjects, and $180 for combo lessons or siblings.

The studio will be open during ALL other school vacation weeks including Monday holidays unless otherwise notified. Extended hours may be available during these days.

Discontinuance:

All students must give a 30-day notice for discontinuance. This allows proper closure for the student and prepares them for their continued music study on their own or with a new teacher. As well, this allows the studio time to fill the open slot, and minimize a sudden financial loss.

Make-Up Lessons

Makeup lesson times are available on a first come, first serve basis. Make-up lessons are available to students who give at least a 24-hour cancellation notice. To schedule a makeup lesson, please contact me as soon as possible to see what times are open that week.
